Today's Post...

...will be short. I'm already having the kind of day that makes you want to trample on daffodils while tearing out your own hair.

Things I Have Eaten for Breakfast in my Lifetime:

1. chicken noodle soup

2. prenatal vitamins

3. cheese and crackers

4. whole wheat pita with "Garlic Lover's" hummus

5. leftover roasted lamb

Arrgh! Sorry about the day - perhaps it all started out with a sub-par breakfast?

Here's a little story: Madeleine's friends have all seen Star Wars and like to pretend Star Wars all the time. All. The. Time. Her friends are mostly boys, so of course, she's always Princess Leah. She's starting to get the hang of it, learning the lingo and such, but this morning she came running in with her light sabre and said, "Mommy! Let's all pretend we're the Leah family. You can be Queen Leah, Pooey can be Prince Leah and Ollie will be the Royal Leah Dog!"

I like cheese and crackers for breakfast and I've had chicken and rice too. But not chicken soup. Or garlicky stuff, though I love garlicky stuff.

Hope your day got better.

#2 by itself is no bueno and a quick trip to nausea-town. I learned this lesson the hard way.

I'd like to add cookies, cold pizza and chicken tetrazini.

I once ate steak, eggs, and cornbread for breakfast. And when I was 9 I ate Pizza flavored Combos and a Pepsi every morning for 3 months. Bleh.

I hope your day gets better! You should go buy some flowers just to stomp on them.

I love eating leftovers for breakfast. My favourite, besides pizza and chicken wings, is spaghetti. YUM!

Love extra garlic hummus! Have some in my fridge right now, as a matter of fact.

I definitely need to expand my breakfast repertoire! I like everything on your list except for the lamb.
