Week 17 Update
I think I feel the slightest suggestion of a kick. And a lot of buoyancy. It's pretty cool. And sorely needed by my wilted spirits.

Ty: "Where were you?"
Arabella: "I just went for a little walk."
T: "Oh."
(Pause.)
T: "Sweetheart, what's in the shopping bag?"
A: "Oh, nothing..."
T: "Come on..."
A: "Oh, all right."
(Arabella pulls something out of the shopping bag.)
T: "What's that?"
A: "Well, it's...it's a tiny little Guy Smiley doll."
T: "Oh."
(Pause.)
T, perplexed: "You bought it for the babies?"
A: "Um...well........no."

I didn't recognize the kicking until late in my first pregnancy, at which point I said, "OH! That's what it feels like to swallow a goldfish."
Fear not, Arabella. I would TOTALLY buy a Guy Smiley doll for myself. I also remember the first flutter. I think I was 18 weeks along with Greyson. I was squatting down to pick something up off of the ground and it did feel just like Mignon says. Like a little goldfish.
This morning Madeleine was watching cartoons and Jim and I were alternately wrestling with Quinn and reading the paper in the other room. Tiny was singing a song during a commercial, then after a quiet moment she came running into to us shouting, "MOMMY MOMMY I WANT AN EASY BACK OVEN! CAN I HAVE IT? I WANT IT!" I immediately thought of you. Easy back.
A first kick? How wonderful! They'll be coming all the time pretty soon :)

Hey, do you remember when I said that I always looked forward to the Tuesday Morning flyer because they sometimes have Le Creuset on sale?
And you were like "Really? LC at Tuesday Morning?"
I thought of you today when I got the new TM flyer. Guess what's on the front?
Yep! Le Creuset at what looks to be 50% off on all the paprika colored cast iron and stoneware. Weeeee! I wanna go shopping!
Oh hurray! I haven't felt a thing yet although I've been lying very still and focusing on my uterus. Nothing.
I think a little goldfish is exactly what it feels like.
Izzy, I wanna go shopping, too! And then cook us lunch in my beautiful new cookware! Wow, 50% off is really, really good.
